Do you create daily backup or log files and only want to keep the last 10 versions (files / folders), for example?  

Then we have just the right tool for you.

The zip package contains 2 program versions, a commandline version (for batch operation) and a GUI version (graphical user interface). You can use the GUI version to create the command for the commandline version.

You can have these batch commands executed automatically and regularly by a server, for example.

You can also save up to 100 settings in the GUI version and, of course, load and execute them again. You can even have several settings executed in one go. Of course, all settings can be saved and restored - e.g. for a computer change.

You can also choose to have files or folders “cleaned up”. The folder mode is for when additional subfolders are automatically created in your folder (e.g. from the daily backup job with daily date) and you only want to keep the last 14 daily folders as a backup, for example.

You can also specify a search pattern for files, e.g. *.log or *.bak or “Backup_*.zip”

Please test the functions of the program first with a NEW folder by copying some sample files / sample folders before you apply it to your live folder.
