“Learning starts at home. I know because that is where I first learned my ABC’s from my mom. My parents are so involved with my education that my mom makes my own mock exams, not the ones that you can buy from the store. I am so glad that there is a course like this which I can reference with my teacher friends and my friends who have kids, who might have some struggles at school. I like how this online course is presented; it has activities and videos on how to execute learning at home. It is easy to follow and implement. With the COVID situation, parents were kind of forced to be more involved with their children's education and some parents struggled, if they were just a little bit more prepared it would have been better - this course bridges that gap! I highly recommend it!”

“Togetr4Success: The Missing Link provides realistic and simplified techniques with the aim of sustaining parent involvement in school. The course analyzes the barriers that prohibit parents from being less involved in the holistic well-being of their child. While the responsibility of education is perceived to be the sole role of teachers, Togetr4Success: The Missing Link advocates for higher parent participation. The author postulates that “ parent involvement in school was the missing link when it came to academic achievement.” The course provides ten workshops and challenges aimed at strengthening and fostering parent involvement. The resources in the course includes Parent-Teacher Surveys, Teacher Surveys, Parent Surveys and other forms which are useful in creating an effective action plan. There is no more prodigious challenge than that of educating children and the role of parents should never be underestimated. This online course highlights the benefits of cooperation and illustrates that communication is integral and should be the ultimate goal.”

“Welcome to the parenting course of the future. This online course really dives deep into how to help set children up for success. Whether you are a parent, guardian, coach, teacher, or somehow who spends a lot of time with children, this course teaches you the importance in becoming partners with the child to help set them up for a successful learning environment. In addition to breaking down what it takes for parental involvement in the education of children, it also provides many workshops and scripts that parents can use in a way that helps create a sustainable and helpful way. I recommend this online course for everyone with kids at school age.”

“Eric Robinson, a former school social worker, decided to put all his knowledge and years of experience together and came up with this fantastic online course. The course is meant to educate the reader on the specific part of parental involvement in the kid's education. By explaining different procedures, Robinson creates a guide to break that barrier, not only with parents but with teachers as well. I got this online course because I struggled to connect with my kids and help them understand and learn better, so I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did. Robinson provides a blast of information and he explains it very simply. I can now say I feel way better when it comes to my school relationship with the kids—highly recommended.”

“As a teacher this online course is SUCH a must have. The most important time of each child's day is spent under the care of their teachers. Covid muddled that up a little, and I can see how parents have learnt to understand the importance of their presence and attention in their children's lives. This course is about breaking the barriers in communication. Learning to speak to your child in language that they will understand. This is such an eye opener and it goes back to the original family plan. Where both parents are present in their child's life, paying attention. This course is an absolute must enroll if you are teacher of a parent, or both.”

Eric Robinson

Author, Former School Social Worker and Associate Professor of Psychology and Human Services

Eric Robinson is an author, former school social worker and associate professor of psychology and human services. He is passionate about education and the importance of parent involvement in schools. Eric has recognized how parent involvement in schools has become controversial and an underutilized resource for teachers and administrators. In his early career as a school social worker, he was on the front lines, and he realized very quickly that his skills and education were limited by the need to respond to student crises. This was also the case with teachers he observed exhausted at the end of a school day. Very early, he saw the potential of sustained parent involvement, and over the years, he recognized that schools needed an easy, step-by-step guide that was simple to follow and delivered results. This online course represents realizing what is possible with sustained parent involvement.
