Lay on your back and get immersed into the night sky. Our soft voice guides your gaze - you will learn new things about the Big Dipper and your own eye, hear some music and relax under the stars.

This experience is especially designed for remote places that offer an excellent starry sky.

You can expect:

Part 1 - The Big Dipper

Start with the view at the figure of the Big Dipper, then follow the narrator to Polaris, find Arcturus and Cassiopeia, hear stories about the constellation, and learn about the Hubble Deep Field.

Part 1 lasts about 12 minutes. During this time, your eyes adjust to the darkness - this process continues in Part 2 until you can see more stars at the end of the audio experience.

Part 2: Sink into the starry sky

Your eye is fascinatingly good at adapting to the dark. As you learn how this multi-step process works, it actually happens: your eyes adjust to take in as much light as possible. That's how you can see more stars.

With the Guided Stargazing exercise in Part 2, you learn how to perceive all the stars at once, so to speak, and let the sky overwhelm you. The technique used is called peripheral vision and has a relaxing effect.

In the end, the listening experience fades out with sounds that are never the same, and you can just keep looking at the stars.
